Lungile Twala is a registered member of South African Institute of Business Accountants (SAIBA). Mr Twala served as a financial manager in various multi-national and corporate companies for more than 13 years.

He has vast amount of experience in finance, consulting, insurance and construction industries. Mr Twala is a champion for small business development and passionate about playing a role in the development of the economy especially SMMEs.

Mr Twala holds a BComm (Accounting) degree from the University of Johannesburg, and a Cost and Management Accounting diploma obtained from Vaal University of Technology (VUT).

He served his articles at a small accounting firm called BAC Financial Group and moved to AON South Africa as a management accountant, developing various financial reports and models for directors and shareholders.

He later moved to Reinsurance Solutions (Brokers) (Pty) Ltd as a financial manager. At Reinsurance, where he reported directly to the CEO, Mr Twala implemented and enforced new systems enabling the company to run efficiently.

He was also a financial manager and director of one of the Reinsurance subsidiaries, Phenyello Reinsurance (Pty) Ltd. Until December 2013, Mr Twala was the financial manager of Racec Rail Pty Ltd, a JSE-listed rail construction company.
